Milja Vuopio specialises in EU and competition law. Her area of expertise also covers public procurement law. Milja regularly advises clients on competition law matters, including competition authority investigations and generally on competition law compliance matters (competition law strategies, programmes and the related competition law training). She also assists clients with issues relating to state aid, foreign direct investment (FDI) control and the related notification proceedings before the national authority.

Prior to joining HPP Attorneys, Milja has worked in the private sector in the field of public procurement and contract law. She has also completed a traineeship at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition where she worked in the authority’s cartel unit.
