Eeli Aakko works across wide range of IP law matters, covering trademark prosecution, brand protection and advisory, and marketing law, in addition to portfolio management and IP enforcement matters. He also specialises in regulatory law related advisory, such as pharmaceutical and life sciences regulation, providing guidance on compliance and regulatory requirements.

His understanding of clients’ business needs combined with an in-depth grasp of intellectual property law allows him to work efficiently with clients in innovation-heavy sectors, as well as emerging industries, such as AI.

Eeli first joined the firm in 2025 as a trainee, before becoming an associate in the summer of 2026. Prior to joining HPP, Eeli worked as an IP trainee in a major Finnish IP law firm.
