Anna-Stéphanie Roubier heads HPP’s EU & Competition practice, specialising in EU, competition and regulatory law. Anna-Stéphanie advises on a broad-spectrum of competition law issues: antitrust and transactional competition law matters, including merger control and screening investment (FDI), as well as state aid/non-EU state subsidies (FSR).
Anna-Stéphanie has extensive experience in handling antitrust matters (investigations, administration proceedings and contentious) and merger control proceedings before the European Commission and national regulators. She also regularly represents clients in other contentious competition matters and EU-law based litigation. Her field of expertise also covers EU regulatory law, in particular chemicals and other product regulation.
Anna-Stéphanie has previously worked in the Brussels office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP and as a legal advisor at the European Chemicals Agency. She has also previously practiced at other two leading Finnish commercial law firms. Anna-Stéphanie holds an LL.M. degree from the College d’Europe, Bruges (Belgium), and she is qualified as a Finnish attorney-at-law.
