HPP is acting as the estate administrator in the bankruptcy proceedings of Espoon Tennistuki ry. Under HPP’s administration, the bankruptcy estate successfully continued the debtor’s business operations at Esport Center for nearly two months – including entering into fixed-term employment agreements, negotiating supplier contracts and purchasing inventory to keep the facility running – and sold the business and properties of Esport Center as a going concern to Espoo Sport Center Oy.
The transaction was concluded swiftly despite the complexity of the bankruptcy context, maximising value for the creditors while preserving the continued operation of Esport Center. Operations at Esport Center continue under the new ownership, with the majority of employees transferring to the new owner’s employment.
